"Dear friends, I am writing to you, not only because of the conversations, written requests and comments that I – as many of us at the Goetheanum– have received since the publication of Sergei Prokofieff’s book Zeitreisen – ein Gegenbild anthroposophischer Geistesforschung. Eine Darstellung für Mitglieder der Anthroposophischen Gesellschaft – but also because of the opinion expressed towards me in such conversations that I was clearly on the side of Judith von Halle and therefore an “opponent” of the views expressed by Sergei Prokofieff. Since many members experience the beginnings of a polarization that puts a strain on the social climate I decided to issue a personal statement."
